Postdoctoral Researchers
Dao Lab at Colorado State University is looking for a Postdoctoral Associate in Remote Sensing of Plant-Disturbance Interactions to start in September 2023 or shortly after. Candidates must have a PhD and experience in remote sensing, geography, computer science, plant biology, plant ecophysiology, agriculture, environmental science, or related disciplines. PhD student: I am looking for a PhD student starting in the Fall 2023. If you are interested, please send me an email with your CV and a 1-page brief statement of your research interest and/or proposed research project. Please review our lab's research program, projects, and publications to find our common ground before you contact me and apply. Although this position is covered through research and/or teaching assistantship, we encourage you to apply for external fellowships from other sources such as NSF, USDA, NASA, and we will support your fellowship application. Master student: I may also have an opening for a master student joining in Winter 2024. I will post an official advertisement for this position when I have a plan in place. In the meantime, we encourage potential students to contact us and discuss your research interest and potential projects, especially students who are interested in applying for scholarships/fellowships from CSU or external sources.
Undergraduate Students
I maybe looking for 2-3 paid undergraduate assistants to help with wetlab works, field works, and drone operation throughout the year. Please contact me if you are interested in working in our lab to gain knowledge and experience in remote sensing, geospatial science, and precision agriculture.
